The iX4 is an all-new addition to the Neue Klasse family, combining next-generation BMW technology with a sportier, more emotional silhouette. A long wheelbase, short overhangs, and a pronounced rear spoiler give it a dynamic stance, while BMW’s “Heart of Joy” high-performance computer coordinates drivetrain, braking, and steering up to ten times faster than previous systems. Inside, BMW Panoramic iDrive with BMW Operating System X, BMW Panoramic Vision, and a 3D Head-Up Display keep key information right in your line of sight. Purpose-built to electrify Indio streets.

In just ten minutes, the iX4 50 xDrive can add up to an estimated 240 miles of range. Bidirectional charging capability adds even more flexibility to the way you live and drive.
BMW iX4 Safety Features
Drive with confidence in the 2027 BMW iX4, equipped with an extensive range of standard and optional driver-assistance systems that use artificial intelligence to support partially automated driving and parking. BMW Symbiotic Drive creates a more intuitive interaction between driver and vehicle, while the available Motorway Assistant enables hands-free driving at speeds up to 81 mph on approved highways, including assisted lane changes. A flat underfloor battery delivers a low center of gravity and near-balanced weight distribution for stable, confident handling.
BMW iX4 Trim Options
Choose the 2027 BMW iX4 in three all-wheel-drive variants, each with an electric motor on both axles. The iX4 40 xDrive delivers 374 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque, the iX4 50 xDrive steps up to 469 hp and 475 lb-ft, and the range-topping iX4 M60 xDrive produces 612 hp and 645 lb-ft, sprinting from 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds. The M Sport package with 20-inch M light-alloy wheels and M Sport brakes is standard, while the M60 adds Adaptive M suspension, an M locking differential, 21-inch wheels, and M Sport seats. The iX4 M60 xDrive opens for orders in January 2027.

The 2027 BMW iX4 exterior blends Neue Klasse design with a sporty coupé roofline. Up front, the BMW kidney grille and twin headlights merge into a single graphic unit, while the rear features slim horizontal lights in an abstract L shape and a pronounced spoiler with an integrated brake light. A large panoramic glass roof with climate comfort glazing is standard, and the available BMW Iconic Glow exterior package adds Selective Beam and Adaptive Headlights. Choose from nine exterior colors at launch, three Frozen finishes from March 2027, and wheels up to 22 inches.

The standard 7-speaker, 205-watt audio system can be upgraded to a 13-speaker, 430-watt Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos, standard on the M60.
