2017 BMW X1

It may be the smallest vehicle in the BMW X Class, but don’t let that scare you off. The 2017 BMW X1 uses its diminutive size to its advantage. Thanks to a responsive steering system, light weight, and plenty of power, it doesn’t just go from 0-60 in 6.4 seconds; it also handles more like the BMW 3 Series on which it’s based than a typical SUV.

2017 BMW X3

The same BMW 3 Series platform that underpins the BMW X1 is also shared with the 2017 BMW X3. It’s larger, but the size is offset by more horsepower and torque from the engine. Like its stablemates, it offers optional xDrive AWD, iDrive infotainment system, and all the luxury touches that keep you comfortable while you’re seeing just how fast you can take those hairpin turns.

2017 BMW X5

The 2017 BMW X5 is the descendent of the first BMW SAV. It debuted in 1999, but thanks to ongoing design and engineering changes, this is one SUV that doesn’t show its age in the least. One of the most popular vehicles at BMW of Palm Springs, this is the “happy medium” of the lineup, pulling off a perfect balance of space, power, and luxury without the sluggishness and bloat that characterizes so many other vehicles in its class.
